Workshops associated/co-located with IC0906 WiNeMO

BCFIC 2011

Baltic Congress on Future Internet Communications BCFIC Riga 2011 will address all the challenges of building the Future Internet, which will be based on mobile, wireless and fixed broadband communications infrastructures. BCFIC Riga 2011 will become a stage for researchers, officials, decision makers, practitioners from the public sector and industry, people involved in other related initiatives and many others. The Congress will facilitate knowledge transfer to the community and practitioners by promoting results dissemination.

BCFIC 2011 TPC consists out of IC0906 WiNeMO participants. Within BCFIC 2011 technical Program the Action will be represented by invited speakers and a Special Session.

MACOM 2010

The 3rd International Workshop on Multiple Access Communications held in Barcelona, Spain during Septamber 13 - 14, 2010. The aim of this workshop was to discuss both multi-user communications theory and multiple access techniques and standardization activities in areas related to PHY and MAC layer protocols - and their interactions - for contemporary networks.

COST IC0906 WiNeMO was represented by a Special Session with the following IC0906 WiNeMO speakers:

• Cognitive Radio Ad-Hoc Networks for the Future Wireless Internet by Andreas Kassler (Karlstad University, Sweden)
• Space Internetworking and DTN by Vassilis Tsaoussidis (Demokritos University, Greece)
• Wireless Sensor Networks for Health Care and Ambient Assisted Living Applications by Cem Ersoy (Bogazici University, Turkey)
